Pretty is, and pretty does… and she does it very well!
Kayleena SA is a big-bodied 4yo (coming 5) dark almost liver chestnut Arabian mare; big-bodied, with beautiful depth and substance; standing just shy of 15.2h (and still growing!). She is smooth in her gaits, has nearly a year of professional training under saddle with a very well-rounded, versatile and solid foundation, great manners, and a really fun personality!
She is well suited and has quite a bit of training for western dressage, ranch riding, trail class, halter, Sporthorse and she has been on trails quite a bit! You can throw a rope off her, drag a log, cross water, open gates. She’s consistent and steady, quiet in manners- not lazy she stays where you put her, relaxes and focuses on you; carries herself from behind and trusts her rider.
Riding Kayleena is a dream for a sensitive rider who likes a responsive and light horse. She has all the buttons and is not lazy but also not hot… all you need for reins is a silk string, she responds to your leg and seat and stays balanced and soft underneath you- it’s an absolute treat to ride a horse like this! Super candidate for the ranch and trail Futurities at us Nationals next year, or simply enjoy her at home, on the trails or going to various clinics to try new things! She is not finished but it won’t take much to get her there, a good amateur rider could take her on and finish her; she’s willing, quiet, has an very well-rounded, solid and consistent foundation and she is a lot of fun to train!
Kayleena is a ‘take me out shopping’ sort of girl, with just enough tomboy to make her fun. She wants someone to spoil her so bad- and will make that person very happy! Shes not any different to ride when she’s in season or not, but she’s very much a princess… I don’t consider her Marish but she’s definitely a girly-girl. We would love to see her in a home with a do it yourself amateur, who wants a beautiful and quality partner and best friend; with lots of talent and personality… she wants to be teachers pet, to be told how beautiful she is, and to be the center of your world … (but she might pretend she doesn’t care, just so you don’t get too comfortable 😂)
Sound, current on everything and has had the best of care all of her life.
She has a push-button halter standup (was shown a little as a 2yo and did well!), would be a lot of fun for an amateur or youth in halter, performance halter or Sporthorse – and she’ll do very well as she appeals to all worlds being beautiful, charismatic, well mannered, and correct!
