– Foal Pedigree:

– This excellent pedigree combination tends to produce gorgeous foals with really fancy heads, beautiful long necks, nice movement, an outstanding gentle and friendly temperament, as well as size, as both parents are nearly 16 hands tall. This should be an exceptional foal!

– Kassi is an easy breeder. 100% first cycle pregnancy/foaling rates thus far. Great mother.

– Excellent temperament.

– Calm, sweet and affectionate.

– Very friendly and seeks out human companionship. Kassi loves chin scratches so she patiently holds her head up until we notice that she is politely standing beside us, awaiting a chin scratch.

– She is a funny girl with lots of personality but always respectful with her requests and humor.

– Ever since we were lucky enough buy beautiful Kassi, (one of our very best mares), we intended to keep her long term for our breeding program but we are limited with whom we can breed her to here on our farm.

We have unsuccessfully been in search of a suitable outcross stallion to bred her to for 3 years now, as she is related to our stallions (but necessarily too close to breed them together for this generation).

As breeders, we are always thinking of future generations as well so if Kassi is not bred to an outcross stallion now, then her foals will need to be (to stay in our breeding program).

Ideally, we would like to keep Kassi and continue to search for an outcross stallion for her but we have listed her here just in case the right family comes along for her.

– Kassi will also be a lovely horse to ride with her large size and smooth gates. We have never taken the time to train her (still on my to-do list after all of these years) but my son has swung up on her back bareback in the pasture on occasion so training should be easy.

– Healthy mare. Kassi has never been sick, lame or injured any time in her lifetime.

– Kassi has unique birthmarks (rabicano markings – white hairs) on her left gaskin (upper back leg) and under her chest.

–  Photo of BLACK yearling filly is one of her daughters. Exported to Germany.
